The Illawarra Academy of Sport (IAS) hosts a wide array of events to help support, fund, celebrate and educate the young athletes of tomorrow. The IAS conducts many specialised talks from professional consultants to specifically help and educate their athletic scholarship holders. An annual Presentation Night rewards and acknowledges the achievements athletes reach through out the year. Dinners and receptions also allow for the IAS athletes, board members and associates to give back and thank their supports, as well as build connection to gain new contributors to programs.
IAS events all aim to develop athletes by equipping them with skills and tools they need to reach the next representative level in their chosen sports.

IAS Presentation Night
The IAS Presentation Night is the final event for athletes and program staff of all sports to be recognised and reward for their efforts through out the year in a formal setting. Sponsors and special guests gather to congratulate and recognise athletes, squads and program staff on successfully graduating from the IAS program that year. Major awards at each IAS Presentation Night include the presenting of each sports Athlete of the Year and the Ted Tobin Family Award for the one athlete across all sports who has achieve the greatest out of the previous year.
