General Manager - Carolyn Dews

Carolyn has a strong background in the sporting , community and corporate worlds as either a participant or an administrator. Hving competed in the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon, Carolyn is the President of the Illawarra Triathlon Club, Board Member of Triathlon NSW and the immediate past President of Healthy Cities Illawarra.

In the past Carolyn has been the Regional Programs Coordinator for the NSW Cancer Council which included involvement in Relay For Life.

Senior Program Manager - Shawn McEachin-Campbell

Shawn is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Illawarra Academy of Sport scholarship programs. Studying Psychology and Public Health at the University of Wollongong, Shawn has over 15 years of experience at various levels of sport administration.

As a Board Member of the Illawarra Basketball Association, Shawn is a passionate basketball coach having held several Head Coach positions including NSW Country Under 18 Men State Team and Illawarra Hawks Waratah Championship Men.

Administration Officer - Pasco Coppolaro

Pasco has been with the Illawarra Academy of Sport since 2003 and previously worked at BHP as a clerical officer for 24 years. He has been actively involved with the Illawarra Cycle club, Illawarra Triathlon club and the Kembla Joggers running club over the years.

With a love of sport, Pasco is well known for his knowledge of athlete times and performances over the years, hence his nickname as “Mr Stats”. If you want to know about any outstanding achievements in the IAS over the past 25 years then he would be the man to know.

Accountant - Selin Kahraman

As a qualified accountant and BAS agent, Selin is responsible for the sound financial management of the Illawarra Academy of Sport. With more than ten years of accounting experience, Selin maintains her own business, Tiger Bookkeeping and Accounting Services and works closely with several local sporting organisations including the Wollongong Hawks.

A proud parent of sporting children, Selin shares a passion for sport, accounting and family.
